About the U-Belong Program

U-Belong is an innovative initiative launched by T3 Telecoms SA in partnership with Blu Train. Our goal is to empower the youth of South Africa by creating meaningful employment opportunities. Since the program began, we have successfully generated over 300 new jobs in the Gauteng province alone. The overwhelmingly positive response from participants and communities has encouraged us to expand nationwide, bringing these opportunities to young people everywhere in the country.

Key Requirements to Join the U-Belong Learnership

Getting started is straightforward—we keep the entry criteria simple to ensure accessibility for as many eligible candidates as possible. To apply, you must meet the following requirements:

• Have successfully passed Grade 10, 11, or 12 (Matric).
• Possess a valid South African ID document.
• Be a South African citizen.

Your Role as a Sales Consultant

As a Sales Consultant in the U-Belong program, you’ll play a key role in promoting and selling essential telecom products to customers. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Selling Starter Packs: Introduce customers to affordable mobile starter packs that get them connected quickly and easily.
• Airtime Sales: Help people top up their mobile credit, ensuring they stay connected for calls, data, and more.
• Electricity Vouchers: Assist communities in purchasing prepaid electricity, making everyday life more convenient and reliable.

These tasks are straightforward yet impactful, allowing you to interact directly with customers, solve their needs, and contribute to the company’s mission of accessible telecom services. You’ll receive full training on products, sales techniques, and safety protocols to ensure you’re successful from day one. Expect a mix of fieldwork, team meetings, and customer outreach, with opportunities to travel to various regions as part of group assignments.
