About the Role
SARS seeks a qualified Driver to provide safe transportation services and logistical support. This role requires a professional with excellent route planning skills, vehicle maintenance knowledge, and commitment to timely service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport passengers and goods safely according to schedules
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate trip records and fuel logs
- Coordinate with team members for efficient route planning
- Resolve basic operational issues promptly
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and SARS policies
- Provide exceptional service to internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Valid Code 08 Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4 qualification)
- 1+ year professional driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Basic vehicle maintenance skills
- Proficiency in English (read/write/speak)
