Virgin Active South Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a passionate and energetic individual to join our team as a Club V Attendant. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, to create a magical and engaging experience for our youngest members.
Job Purpose
Your primary purpose is to make exercise irresistible for our Club V members. You will be responsible for creating a happy, welcoming, and nurturing environment for toddlers and babies by interacting with, entertaining, educating, and stimulating them through various activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Control and manage electronic access and exit of all Club V members to the facility.
- Manage all access cards to ensure they are valid and contain all relevant information.
- Effectively enforce the 2 consecutive hour rule for member visits.
- Follow the monthly activity roster and themes, planning and executing activities on an ongoing basis.
- Adhere to all emergency procedures competently and report any incidents immediately to the Manager on Duty (MOD) and/or Club V Coordinator.
- Maintain control of the Club V environment, ensuring it is safe, hygienic, and clean.
- Correctly manage stock within the Club V facility, including toys, arts & crafts, disposables/consumables, cleaning aids, movement equipment, games, puzzles, and books using the relevant checklists.
Minimum Requirements
- A clear criminal check.
- Up-to-date First Aid Training.
- Up-to-date in-house Club V Training.
- Up-to-date Active Play Training.
- A genuine affinity for children and the ability to entertain them.
- Ability to conduct physical games and activities with confidence.
- Willingness to learn and implement new junior programs.
