Job Description

As a Festive Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a memorable shopping experience. You will be the face of our store, providing friendly and professional service while assisting customers with their festive shopping needs.

Job Purpose

To deliver exceptional customer service and support during the festive trade period, ensuring customers have a positive and enjoyable shopping experience at The Body Shop.

Key Responsibilities & Job Objectives

• Deliver superior customer service by being visible, approachable, and offering friendly, professional assistance
• Respond to basic product knowledge inquiries from customers and provide accurate information
• Assist customers in locating products or direct them to appropriate sections within the store
• Execute and maintain all merchandising duties according to store and visual merchandise standards
• Efficiently restock shelves and maintain organized product displays
• Assist in keeping the store clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
• Wrap and bag items purchased by customers with care and attention
• Inform customers about current promotions, special offerings, and festive deals
• Work efficiently within established guidelines and timeframes
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 certificate (Matric)
• Previous experience in a sales or service environment is desirable but not essential
