This role is essential to our operations and involves a variety of physical tasks to support our production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in physical labour, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy loads (up to 25kg).
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times.
- Stack and palletize finished cases correctly onto the appropriate pallets.
- Inspect materials and products carefully for any defects or issues.
- Complete relevant quality check documents accurately and in a timely manner when necessary.
- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Observe all safety procedures and protocols without exception.
- Adhere strictly to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.
- Identify, raise, and assist in closing potential safety risks and observations.
- Adhere to all food safety policies and guidelines.
Requirements
- Education: Must have a National Senior Certificate (Matric).
- Must be willing and able to work shifts, which include weekends and overtime when required.
- Must be medically and physically fit to perform demanding tasks.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
