Job Purpose
To deliver exceptional customer service and support store operations during the festive trade period, ensuring every customer has a memorable and positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities & Job Objectives
- Deliver superior customer service by being highly visible, approachable, and offering a friendly, professional, and efficient service at all times.
- Respond to basic customer inquiries regarding product knowledge, helping them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Assist customers in locating products within the store or direct them to the appropriate aisle or section.
- Execute and maintain all merchandising duties according to the store’s visual merchandise standards to ensure the shop floor is attractive and inviting.
- Efficiently restock shelves, ensuring products are always available and neatly displayed for customers.
- Assist in keeping the store clean, tidy, and organized, contributing to a pleasant shopping atmosphere.
- Wrap and bag purchased items carefully for customers.
- Inform customers about ongoing promotions, special offers, and festive deals to enhance their shopping experience.
- Work efficiently within set guidelines and timeframes to meet the demands of the festive rush.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 certificate (Matric) is required.
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service environment is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented with a passion for service.
- Honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
