We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Administrator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is an excellent entry-level opportunity for an individual eager to build a career in Human Capital, with a specific focus on learning and development operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Assist with the administrative tasks for learning and development programs. This includes scheduling training sessions, managing attendance registers, and maintaining accurate training records.
  • Coordination: Handle the logistics for training events. Duties include booking venues, arranging catering, and managing invitations and participant registrations as required.
  • Communication: Serve as a key point of contact, communicating effectively with trainers, participants, and internal stakeholders to provide clear information about training programs, schedules, and requirements.
  • Data Management: Maintain precise records of training attendance, evaluations, and feedback. Compile this data to generate reports that help track training effectiveness and ensure compliance.
  • Technology Utilisation: Use learning management systems (LMS) and other training platforms to efficiently organise, deliver, and track all training activities.
  • Evaluation and Feedback: Collect and analyze training evaluations and feedback to identify areas for improvement and contribute recommendations for future training initiatives.
  • Compliance: Ensure all training and development activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements, internal organizational policies, and skills development BEE mandates.
  • Other Support: From time to time, provide support for other Human Capital initiatives within the business as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, a National Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar administrative or coordination role.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with learning management systems (LMS) is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A basic understanding of adult learning principles.
  • A strong eagerness to learn and grow within the Human Capital field.

Education:

Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce and Management Studies is required.
