Key Responsibilities
As a Concierge/Driver, your primary duty is to ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well-informed. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and welcoming all guests with warmth, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
- Providing personalized recommendations on local Cambridge attractions, restaurants, events, and transport options.
- Assisting guests with directions, booking reservations, and fulfilling special requests to enhance their stay.
- Safely transporting guests to and from locations in and around Cambridge, ensuring punctuality and comfort at all times.
- Maintaining an up-to-date and extensive knowledge of Cambridge landmarks, history, and current events.
- Working collaboratively with the entire Concierge and front office team to deliver a seamless and exceptional guest service experience.
- Ensuring the company vehicle is kept clean, fueled, and well-maintained.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must hold a valid manual driving licence with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Must be over 25 years of age due to insurance requirements.
- You do not need to own a personal vehicle; a company vehicle will be provided for work duties.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a fluent command of English.
- A friendly, proactive, and genuinely guest-oriented attitude.
- A deep knowledge of Cambridge and the surrounding areas is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within hospitality or a similar industry.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
