First National Bank (FNB), a division of FirstRand Bank Limited, is offering an exciting opportunity for young South Africans to join their 2025 12-Month Learnership Programme (POP). This initiative is designed to empower youth with limited formal work experience by providing structured learning and practical work experience within one of South Africa’s leading financial institutions.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen aged 18-34 years
  • Hold at least a Matric certificate (NQF Level 4); higher qualifications (NQF 5-6) are advantageous
  • Be currently unemployed and not studying
  • Have less than 12 months of work experience (including part-time or casual work)
  • Not have previously participated in a FirstRand or FNB Learnership / FirstJob Programme
  • Have a good command of English
  • Have no criminal record or blacklisting
  • Be willing to complete both the workplace and academic components of the learnership
  • Submit a voice note as part of the application (mandatory for screening)
