Position Summary
Eskom is offering an exciting learnership opportunity for a Technician in Chemistry at the Camden Power Station in Ermelo, Mpumalanga. This position is ideal for individuals who have completed their S4/S5 in a relevant chemical field and are looking to gain practical, hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive institutionalized training combined with on-the-job learning to develop essential skills in chemical services within the power generation industry.
Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will be provided with both institutionalized training and practical on-the-job experience. Key focus areas will include:
- Participating in analytical chemistry processes relevant to power station operations.
- Supporting water care and treatment activities.
- Assisting with biochemical analyses and related tasks.
- Adhering to Eskom’s policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve departmental goals.

Minimum Requirements
- Fully completed S4 or S5 in Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Water Care, or Biochemistry.
