Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • National Diploma in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Graduate, you will support and learn in the following key areas:

Customer Relations

  • Receive and verify the accuracy of customer demand on a weekly basis
  • Understand and analyze changes from previous demand releases

Supplier Management

  • Plan raw material and component requirements based on customer demand
  • Track shipments to ensure on-time arrivals and maintain delivery schedules
  • Assist with supplier performance evaluations and scorecards

Store Coordination

  • Coordinate and monitor the receiving of goods and raw materials into fixed stock locations
  • Manage the dispatch of finished goods from storage locations

Stock Handling

  • Ensure proper handling and management of all stock items
  • Process store requisitions and coordinate issuing of materials
  • Assist with processing rejected items on the system
  • Support production planning and data control activities

Stock Takes

  • Coordinate stock counts according to established procedures
  • Check stock condition during counting processes
  • Investigate and resolve stock variances

Finished Goods Management

  • Maintain required finished goods stock levels
  • Follow up on outstanding Proof of Delivery (POD) documents
