Job Description

Are you a driven and enthusiastic individual with a passion for cars and customer service? Motus Retail is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in the automotive sector as a Vehicle Sales Trainee. This learnership role is designed for those eager to learn the art of vehicle sales from the ground up. You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training, mentorship, and support to develop the skills necessary to become a successful sales professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, helping them find the perfect vehicle to meet their needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Conduct engaging test drives and detailed walkaround presentations, highlighting vehicle features and benefits.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the features, specifications, and value propositions of the vehicles in our inventory.
  • Assist senior sales staff with sales negotiations and learn effective techniques for closing deals.
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to vehicle sales and finance agreements.
  • Perform follow-up calls and communications with customers to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and foster repeat business.
  • Participate in all training sessions and meetings to continuously improve product knowledge and sales skills.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Must be a reliable team player who collaborates well with others.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.
