Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team for a valuable Project Management Learnership. This role is based in our Ferndale, Randburg office and reports directly to the Managing Director. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in project administration within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be exposed to various aspects of project management. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with tracking project progress and updating internal management systems.
  • Supporting the preparation and submission of project claims documentation.
  • Communicating with suppliers via phone and email to request invoices and account statements.
  • Collating and organizing financial documents for reconciliation and reporting purposes.
  • Maintaining accurate and efficient digital filing systems.
  • Attending internal project meetings and taking minutes when required.
  • Shadowing senior staff members to gain exposure to construction project workflows.
  • Performing any other relevant administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

Suitable candidates must possess the following:

  • A Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong administrative capabilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
  • Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills and a team-player attitude.
  • High level of motivation with strong self-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of trustworthiness and ethical conduct.
  • A willingness and ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
