Purpose of the Job

The primary purpose of the Instructional Designer role is to drive the delivery of effective and timely learning through the creation of high-quality online learning content. This position focuses on digital content development with a specific emphasis on animation. The role is accountable for designing, developing, and implementing content development standards to ensure consistency and standardization. Additionally, the position involves managing the delivery of content created by the Graphic Designer and the Superuser Instructional Designer.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure adherence to established standards, governance, and guidelines by conducting quality assurance on all content development projects.
• Track and report on cost savings achieved through internal content development, and monitor and report external spending for content development on a weekly basis.
• Follow the Instructional Design guidelines (e.g., the ADDIE Model) for internal content development projects, involving internal stakeholders at key milestones.
• Ensure compliance with content development guidelines and standards for projects assigned to the superuser/instructional designer and instructional designer by performing quality assurance on completed work.

Minimum Experience

3+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years specifically in instructional design using Articulate software and Adobe Creative Cloud for animation and illustrations.

Formal Education

A relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, E-learning Content Development, Content Design, or Information Design.
