Job Description
Fidelity Services Group is seeking a dedicated Box Room Controller to join our team at the Port Elizabeth Branch. This role is crucial within our Cash-In-Transit (CIT) operations, focusing on the secure and efficient distribution and receipt of consignments. The successful candidate will report directly to the Branch Manager.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a clear criminal record.
- PSIRA accreditation with a minimum Grade C qualification is highly advantageous.
- At least 1 year of experience in the security industry or a similar role.
- Computer literacy is compulsory.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be willing and able to work night shifts.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Must be physically fit to perform the duties required.
Key Responsibilities
The job specification includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
- Prepare for daily vault room operations.
- Plan and organize vault room schedules for CIT teams.
- Receive and distribute consignments to and from CIT teams securely.
- Scan all consignments as part of the tracking process.
- Balance the vault and ensure it is securely locked at the end of operations.
- Sort consignments accurately for dispatch and receipt.
- Perform all necessary documentation and administrative duties related to consignments.
- Conduct searching duties as required by security protocols.
