Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing essential controller support to ensure all vehicle stock transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner. This role involves executing predefined work objectives according to established standard operating procedures to maintain efficient stock control and support the dealership’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive controller support for vehicle stock management.
• Process all vehicle stock transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to predefined work objectives and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers, sales managers, the dealer principal, all staff members, suppliers, trade representatives, and agents.
• Utilize stock control and location equipment effectively.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-3 years of experience as a Stock Controller within the motor industry.
• Experience with Autoline systems is highly preferable.
• Training in standard stock-keeping systems is required.
• Must be numerate and literate to the required clerical level.

Skills and Personal Attributes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Well-developed people management skills.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain Management (SCM) principles.
• Capable of providing courteous and effective service to customers.

Reporting Structure

The Stock Controller will report directly to the Accountant and the Dealer Principal.
