About the Role
The Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS) is offering an exciting Marketing Internship opportunity for a recent graduate. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a dynamic communications and marketing environment. The successful intern will be an integral part of the team, gaining valuable skills and contributing to real-world projects.
Key Responsibilities
As a Marketing Intern, your duties will include a diverse range of tasks to support the communications team, such as:
- Providing support with both internal and external communication efforts.
- Assisting in the creation and curation of engaging content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and the official company website.
- Supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events, campaigns, and exhibitions to ensure they run smoothly and communicate effectively.
- Conducting research to support new communication initiatives, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Assisting with media monitoring, compiling press clippings, and creating reports on media coverage and industry trends.
- Helping to maintain and update content calendars to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Supporting the development of professional presentations, reports, and other communication materials.
- Assisting in capturing and organizing photographs and multimedia content for internal and external use.
- Providing general administrative support to the communications team, including taking minutes in meetings.
Requirements
To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Have completed Grade 12 (Matric).
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or Graphic Design.
- Possess basic computer literacy skills.
- Must not be permanently employed at the time of application.
- Must not have participated in any previous internship programme.
