Position Summary
The National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA) is seeking a dedicated and efficient Assistant Officer for General Administration to join the Office of the Chief Executive, within the Company Secretary department. This is an entry-level position (Task Grade: T09) designed to provide comprehensive support to ensure the smooth operation and performance of the department. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating administrative tasks, supporting governance processes, and monitoring key outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to management to help achieve departmental objectives and strategic goals.
- Monitor and track departmental outputs, governance processes, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Manage internal and external customer relationships and facilitate effective communication within the department.
- Assist in the coordination of meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Handle general office administration, including document management, filing, and data processing.
- Support the department in adhering to Eskom’s established policies, procedures, and processes.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
A National Diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration, or Project Management at NQF Level 6 with 240 credits.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administration or support services role.
