Job Description
This is an entry-level position ideal for someone eager to start or advance their career in finance and administration. As a Financial Administrator, you will provide crucial support to our finance department by handling various administrative and financial tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include managing financial records, assisting with data entry and reporting, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial documentation. You will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial and Administrative Support: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation. Perform basic filing and document management tasks. Support the finance team with day-to-day administrative duties.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Input financial data into spreadsheets and accounting software. Help prepare financial reports and summaries. Ensure all entered data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Bank Account Compliance and Record Keeping: Maintain financial records in compliance with company policies. Assist with compliance-related tasks, including records for opening and maintaining bank accounts.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with team members to ensure efficient operations. Communicate with internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Matric (High School Certificate) is non-negotiable. A certification or diploma in Office Administration or Financial Administration is preferred.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in an administrative or finance role is non-negotiable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is essential.
- Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to regulatory bodies such as SARS or CIPC is beneficial. Experience with basic filing and document management is advantageous.
