About the Role
Pump and Abrasion Technologies is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Creditors Clerk to become a valuable member of our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized individual with a solid grasp of accounting principles to develop their career in a dynamic and fast-paced office environment located in Centurion.
Key Responsibilities
- Scanning Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and accurately matching them with corresponding invoices.
- Ensuring all supplier and temporary staff payments are processed correctly and paid on time.
- Filing SAD 500 documents and managing related requests.
- Providing general administrative support to staff across the company.
- Capturing and processing supplier invoices accurately into the Syspro accounting system.
- Preparing and processing electronic payments.
- Completing new supplier credit applications.
- Performing detailed creditors reconciliations.
- Verifying the accuracy and completeness of payment packs before processing.
- Following up on invoicing and the Goods Received Note (GRN) process for Cash on Delivery (COD) suppliers.
Qualifications & Experience
- A BCom Degree or any other relevant qualification in Accounting is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Previous experience using the Syspro accounting system is a significant advantage.

- Strong understanding of financial performance metrics.
- Must be confident and capable of working on their own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, successfully manage tight deadlines, and multitask efficiently.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
