In this role, you will help keep our brand strong, make operations run smoothly, and make sure customers always get the products they need when they need them. Your skills in managing stock will play a big part in the store’s success by keeping high standards in day-to-day work.

Your Main Duties

You will make sure the stockroom is always neat and running at its best. You will improve how stock moves to the sales floor and use good methods to control stock. This will help cut down on losses and make service better for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

Stockroom Excellence and Efficiency

• Handle the stockroom carefully to keep it working at full speed.
• Keep everything in the stockroom very organized so items are easy to find quickly.
• Use the best ways to manage stock to avoid any losses or mistakes.
• Make sure the back office and stockroom follow all company rules.

Stock Management and Loss Prevention

• Keep enough stock on the sales floor by moving it there smoothly.
• Keep exact records of all stock and look into any issues or differences.
• Manage write-offs and ways to stop losses, keeping them at acceptable levels.
• Make sure only perfect stock goes to the sales floor and stop damaged items from being sold.

Customer Service and Sales Support

• Improve the shopping experience by always having stock ready for customers.
• Help the sales team by making stock easy to move and access.
• Work with others to increase the store’s profits through smart stock control.

Safety and Compliance

• Keep the stockroom up to Occupational Health and Safety (OHASA) rules.
• Maintain a safe place to work without any dangers for the team.
• Follow all company rules on stock and risk management.

What You Need to Have to Succeed

• Matric / Grade 12 (must have)
• At least 2 years of experience in retail (experience in luxury or fashion retail is a plus)
• Good knowledge of how stockrooms work and how to manage inventory

• Great focus on details and strong skills in staying organized
• Understanding of stock rules and steps to follow
• Ability to check and fix any stock problems
• Good communication to work with teams and managers
• Clear knowledge of retail back-office work and OHASA rules
