Position Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our transportation team in Mokopane. This vital role ensures safe, efficient operations while adhering to strict safety and maintenance protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy vehicles according to load specifications and road conditions
- Conduct daily pre-operational vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate documentation for loads and vehicle checks
- Comply with all heavy vehicle transportation regulations and safety standards
- Complete detailed shift reports and administrative tasks
- Perform standby duties and shift work as required
- Collaborate with maintenance teams for scheduled vehicle servicing
Essential Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 certificate or N3 Engineering qualification
- Valid EC Category driver’s license
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience operating heavy vehicles
- Roll-back operation experience (advantageous)
