About the Position

A vacancy exists for a National Recruitment & Training Manager at a water treatment company based in Johannesburg (Woodmead).

Position Overview

Reporting to the National HR Manager, this role requires managing and ensuring that the overall national recruitment needs and training objectives for the group of companies are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the recruitment of human resources to meet operational requirements.
  • Anticipate manpower needs and ensure the availability of high-caliber personnel by advertising vacancies and sourcing CVs through various platforms, evaluating applications, and conducting interviews.
  • Manage recruitment progress against Employment Equity (EE) targets.
  • Facilitate the implementation of training and development programs by conducting skills audits, identifying training courses, and organizing training sessions.
  • Implement training initiatives in line with Skills Development Levy (SDL) statutory requirements, including assisting with learnerships and bursaries to support social and community development initiatives.
  • Promote a positive company image to expand business in the region, aligning with company strategy.

Requirements

  • Industrial Psychology qualification or LLB with a focus on Labour Law.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, and Skills Development Act.
  • Proven experience in recruitment and selection of staff.
  • Computer literacy and strong administrative skills.
  • A valid driver’s license is required due to travel to various operational areas.
