Training Program Overview
Lindsay Saker Audi Bryanston invites motivated individuals to join our 4-year Competency Based Modular Training (CBMT) Apprenticeship program. This structured development opportunity combines workshop experience with classroom learning through our Motus Technical Training Academy (MTTA). Successful candidates will progress through Level 1-4 certifications while gaining hands-on experience at our premium automotive service center.
Key Program Components
- 48-month blended learning program combining practical and theoretical training
- 5-day residential training blocks every 5 weeks at MTTA facilities
- Comprehensive CDX digital learning platform access
- Practical skill development under master technicians
- National Certificate: Motor Mechanic (NQF Level 4) qualification upon completion
Core Responsibilities
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and repair tasks under supervision
- Complete diagnostic procedures using specialized tools and equipment
- Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation
- Participate in safety protocols and workshop cleanliness standards
- Assist with vehicle electrical systems and mechanical component servicing
- Progressively handle complex repair tasks as skills develop
Candidate Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics & Physical Science (minimum 50%)
- OR N3 Technical Certificate with relevant engineering subjects
- Valid Code B driver’s license (manual transmission)
