This structured development opportunity combines hands-on workshop experience with technical training to prepare candidates for qualification as BMW-certified motor mechanics.

Core Responsibilities

Technical Duties

• Assist senior technicians in diagnostic procedures using BMW diagnostic systems
• Perform maintenance services including oil changes, brake inspections, and component replacements
• Support electrical system troubleshooting and repair operations
• Document all service activities in digital workshop management system

Customer Service

• Explain technical issues to customers in understandable terms
• Support service advisors with work progress updates
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety standards

Candidate Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics and Physical Science (minimum D symbol)
• Valid Code B driver’s license (manual transmission competency preferred)

Preferred Attributes

• Basic understanding of automotive systems and engine mechanics
• Physical ability to work with heavy components and stand for extended periods
• Computer literacy for workshop software operations
• Tertiary technical qualification (N2/N3 advantageous)
