Role Summary

Entry-level position specializing in labor relations support for construction industry client. Based in Gqeberha.

Primary Duties

  • Maintain labor workforce records and compliance files
  • Process site attendance and overtime records
  • Assist with wage negotiations documentation
  • Coordinate site safety training records
  • Support disciplinary hearing administration
  • Liaise with trade union representatives

Candidate Requirements

  • HR Certificate/Diploma
  • 1 year HR admin experience (construction advantageous)
  • Understanding of BCEA and sectoral determinations
  • Proficiency in isiXhosa (verbal)
  • Physical mobility for site visits

Remuneration

  • Basic salary: R15,000 – R18,000/month
  • Site allowance: R1,200/month
  • Provident fund
  • Tool of trade: 4×4 vehicle
  • Annual bonus based on project completion

Work Environment: 60% office / 40% site-based

Special Conditions: Willingness to work occasional Saturdays during project peaks
