A vacancy exists for a Senior Water Project Engineer in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of water infrastructure projects.
Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Water Project Engineer with a strong background in water infrastructure design, contract management, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, preparing technical reports, and working with various contract types.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage water infrastructure projects
- Oversee contract management and quality monitoring
- Prepare and review technical reports, business plans, and tender documentation
- Manage GCC, JBCC, and NEC contracts, including handling claims
- Proficient in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, iDAS, and Wadiso/Epanet software
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Word, and PowerPoint
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registration as a Professional Engineer with ECSA
- 10-12 years of experience in water infrastructure projects
- Valid Code B (08) driver’s license
- Willingness to relocate to Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
Offer
The annual salary for this position is R800,000 – R900,000. The position is available immediately, and the application deadline is open until filled.
