About the Programme
The Seriti Bursary Programme supports high‑achieving students to pursue tertiary education in specified fields at a recognised South African university or university of technology. The bursary covers tuition, accommodation, meals, a pocket allowance, book allowance and a laptop allowance.

Who Can Apply?
You must be a South African citizen currently registered at a recognised tertiary institution studying towards a NQF Level 7 degree or diploma in one of the above fields.
- 2nd, 3rd or 4th year students in 2026
- Honours students in Geology and Environmental only
- No first‑year, bridging or foundation year students
Admission Requirements
- South African citizenship
- Latest results, average > 60 %
- Brief CV
- Proof of registration and study field/year
- Basic knowledge of mining industry legislation (Mine Health and Safety Act)

Terms & Conditions
- Final bursary contract depends on successful registration for 2026 and satisfactory 2025 results
- Graduates will be required to work within Seriti’s business (vacation work or other placements) after completing their studies
- Priority given to candidates from local communities
- Applicants already receiving another bursary or sponsorship are ineligible
- Full‑time study required
Application Process
Submit a PDF CV along with certified copies (within three months) of all relevant qualifications, an ID document, academic record/results, registration acceptance letter, and proof of residence. All documents should be attached via the application portal; use Google Chrome for best compatibility.
Applications will be processed in line with employment equity targets. Replies will only be sent to shortlisted candidates. Unanswered applications after 30 days from the closing date will be considered unsuccessful.
Applications open until the closing date and are not considered for processing after 19 December 2025.
