Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Parts Sales Consultant to join our team in Centurion. The role focuses on maintaining high sales volume, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the correct discount margins for our parts portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain maximum sales volume at the correct discount budgeted margin.
• Identify and onboard new customers in the allocated area and open their data files.
• Visit existing customers regularly according to the STM schedule.
• Manage customer accounts and provide business management data to improve spend.
• Keep a continuous record of customer contact details and schedule of contacts.
• Ensure distribution of MAN related parts across all sectors of the trade and customer base.
• Assist with stock counts, stand‑by duties, and act as a stand‑in for the Parts Counter Salesman.
• Resolve customer queries promptly and, when necessary, report to the Parts Manager.
• Actively promote all parts promotions and sales campaigns.
• Encourage promotion and sale of MAN parts and products to customers, identifying ways to increase spend.
• Maintain and update the STM system as required.

Qualifications

Education: Grade 12 (Matric Certificate).

Experience

3 years of commercial part sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting sales and margin targets (essential).
